Some time ago, it came to our attention that “Distance Education and
Glossary of Terms,” a “dictionary” of terms related to distance learning,
was being updated for AECT publication. A quick review of the definitions
of terms in the glossary revealed that some of the language was outdated and
thus no longer correct. It seemed a good idea for the DDL to review and
edit the document.
