The Design and Development Division’s Nominating Committee for 2005-2006 is calling for nominations to the following positions within the division:

V.P. for Communications
Board of Directors Member (two vacancies)

Information about these positions is available at the division’s blog (http://www.aect-members.org/dd/blog/ click the “About D&D” link in the upper-right corner and read the section titled “Division Leadership). Those elected by the D&D division membership will begin their terms during the Dallas AECT Meeting in October 2006.

Please send all nominations to the committee’s chair, Elizabeth Boling, by December 1, 2005. Nominees moved forward by the committee for election will need to supply biographical sketches and photographs by January 1, 2006.

Trey Martindale (2004 President) opened the meeting by thanking the board and proposal reviewers for a successful conference program. Trey announced that this year’s election tightly contested, but that MJ Bishop will be VP of Communications for 2005.  Kathy Ingram has agreed to step in and help Dave Wiley with conference planning.
