An Invitation to Developers

TechTrends is seeking short (4-5 pages including images) illustrated articles describing outstanding instructional products/designs for publication in a running feature titled “Instructional Design Portfolio.”

The purpose of the Portfolio is to offer practitioners in the field of ID a chance to see the work of other designers more frequently than they are sometimes able to do and to provide for the sharing of design knowledge that is not always available in other formats. We will accept articles from all sectors and all levels of designers, including student designers.

New AECT Research Symposium

Overview
The Research Symposium is a bi-annual event designed to draw the best minds within AECT, and elsewhere, together for an intensive intellectual exchange of ideas on a focused topic that would culminate in the publication of a Symposium Proceedings and AECT white paper. The goal of the symposia is to bring a small group of scholars together, in a format, which encourages more in-depth dialogue, and different perspectives on a predefined topic or problem.
